"I firmly believe in helping others. Over the last couple of years, my poker career has given me the opportunity to do more for our community and helping those in need. Through it all, family and friends have joined me in giving to over 20+ charities. Below are just a few of those that I hold close to my heart. I encourage you to take a few moments to learn about these wonderful causes through the information and links provided for you. And on behalf of these great charities, we thank you for taking the time."

"We did not choose Down syndrome. Down syndrome chose us." As you may know, Albert and Deidre Pujols have a beautiful daughter with Down syndrome. Since this is so close to their hearts, this Foundation is dedicated to the love, care and development of people with Down syndrome and their families. Our goal is to promote awareness, provide hope and create supportive and memorable events for the families and children who live with Down syndrome.
At the core of the Pujols Family Foundation is the belief that every person is special in the sight of God. We will strive to provide extraordinary experiences for people with disabilities and/or life threatening illnesses. We will improve the standard of living and quality of life for impoverished children in the Dominican Republic through education, medical relief and tangible goods. |

Multiple sclerosis (or MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another. Today, new treatments and advances in research are giving new hope to people affected by the disease. The Gateway Chapter is committed to the philosophy of wellness, offering those living with MS the encouragement, materials and skills necessary to achieve and maintain meaningful, productive lifestyles. |

ARF saves dogs and cats who have run out of time at public shelters and brings people and animals together to enrich each others lives. ARF strives to create a world where every loving dog and cat has a home, where every lonely person has a companion animal, and where children learn to care. It is an organization that can not only aid abandoned and homeless animals, but also promote the concept that people's lives can be enhanced by strengthening the bonds between humans and animals |

The Mission is to give the hope that comes from Jesus to newly diagnosed children and their families affected by cancer or other serious illnesses primarily by the delivery of a Basket of Hope. Watching the faces of the children light up as they look through the baskets full of toys, books, games and music brings indescribable joy to those that both donate and deliver these baskets to the hospitals. |
